My ability to be considered equal
My disability does not Hinder
The Visionary projects Avenue “Able to Ability” has embarked with a vision to “Empower differently abled adults and youth through employment opportunities to lead a life with pride and dignity. We propose to address all the different types of disabilities and get the like-minded NGOs and institutions into a common platform with Rotary District 3141 as the fulcrum and catalyst.
We will tie up with the NGOs
who are providing skill development and vocational training for the differently abled and create a database of people seeking employment. We plan to have a separate website for this to link the skill sets of people who are looking for job opportunities and corporates and Rotarians who can provide them employment. We would also be having job fairs and career development programs
NGOs & Opportunities
We need the support of all the clubs and Rotarians to make this dream a reality which is sustainable and scalable. Our humble request to all Club Presidents to nominate a chairperson for this avenue and also connect us to the NGOs you are already working with. We also look forward to some financial support for existing NGOs to further enhance their contribution in this space.
If we can find the right way to teach people about differently abled people, they will be touched.
You may get in touch with Project Director Rtn. A.V.Suresh (9821097310, firstname.lastname@example.org) or any of the team members of this avenue as per details in the District Directory. We will together live upto the theme “Rotary Opens Opportunities”
